Masters Program


The masters program is open to all adults, age 18+, with previous sculling or sweep experience. This is a social program with no coaching or racing. The rowing schedule is set by the participants.


The 2019 fall season will run 9/03/19 - 11/02/19.

Practice Schedule:
Practice times are set by members, and can be held Monday-Thursday and Saturday (there is no rowing on Fridays in the fall).

There is no racing for the masters program.


Fee: $125
A Captain’s test is available for those participants who will lead (or “captain”) a boat. Successful completion of the captain’s test, and captain’s contract will result in a $25 refund.

No coaching is provided, but can be arranged for an additional fee.


  1. All rowers must be able to swim.

  2. All rowers must have a current membership and waiver with USRowing (basic level membership, at a minimum).

  3. Past rowing experience is required. This is not a learn-to-row program.

  4. A club Captain is required to be in any boat that is taken out.
