PAST…

Baboosic Lake Rowing Club was established in August 2013 with our very first learn-to-row program for masters and juniors. That fall, both the masters and junior programs trained and competed.

In 2025, Souhegan Crew and Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers Crew merged and now race as Baboosic Lake Rowing Club.

PRESENT…

The junior program competes in several regattas in both the fall and spring seasons, in both sweep and sculling. We have an excellent relationship with Souhegan High School and use their facilities for land-based training. We also offer a free winter fitness session at the school during January and February.

We store 15 ergs at the school.

We also occasionally run middle school learn-to-row programs to give 7th and 8th graders a chance to experience the sport before joining the team.

Future…

We continue to grow our youth program and work towards improving our fleet.

Alumni…

We have had quite a few junior rowers continue rowing in college at schools such as University of Rhode Island, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, University of New Hampshire, University of Vermont, Rochester Institute of Technology, Drexel University, Assumption College, UMass Lowell, Union College, University of St. Andrews, and The University of Edinburgh.
